Senior Software Developer
We are building a small team of highly skilled professionals, where everyone has a huge impact. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a high performance and reliable server infrastructure that will be able to handle a billion requests per day. In the course you will work with cutting edge technology. All our hardware is cloud based, our game API is REST based and we are one of the first to implement changes in the Facebook API. Our development philosophy is end-to-end driven - you will specify, design, architect, implement and test new functionality for Dinglepharb Studios. We expect you to work creatively, always looking for the best solution to solve a challenging problem.
Required skills and experience
- Very good at engineering highly scalable software platforms
- Strong database knowledge, with relational as well as non-relational databases
- Experience implementing APIs, preferably REST
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Flash AS3 or Linux operation a plus
- Experience implementing browser based multiplayer games a plus
- Knowledge of the Facebook API and openSocial a plus
- Extensive work experience as a software developer
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
